By downloading, installing, or using the NoteMe mobile application ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use NoteMe.
2. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use NoteMe on Android devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. Your Responsibilities & Data Backups
NoteMe is an offline-first, local-storage application. All notes, media, and settings reside directly in your device's memory. As a result:
- You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of any critical information stored in the application.
- Uninstalling the app, resetting your device, or clearing application storage in system settings will permanently delete all unbacked-up notes and content.
- You agree not to use the application for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to NoteMe, including its design, logos, graphics, icons, user interface, and code are the exclusive property of the NoteMe Development Team. You retain full and exclusive ownership of any original notes, thoughts, and text you author using the application.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
NoteMe is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
While we strive for flawless performance, we do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or entirely error-free, or that defects will be corrected immediately.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the NoteMe Development Team be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation damages for loss of data, loss of goodwill, device malfunction, or any other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Application.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any revisions will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of the application following any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
